Giving new life to wood that would end up either in your woodstove, or in a garbage site. I only and always use recycled wood for my carvings. This is my way to save trees for future generations. You can see all my emotions in my folkart carvings.
As a Quebec female folk art carver, along with my husband Pierre Favreau (master birds carver), and following the recommendation of our daughter Melanie Favreau, we opened our own Etsy shop in March 2008.
17 years ago, I had malignant breast cancer, and in 1998 I started carving my first rooster and I'm still doing wood carvings plus some knittings. It keeps me alive.
