How to....
MAKE AN ORIGAMI BOOK CORNER

You will need:

   2 3/4- 3/1/4" Square piece of paper
                (double sided is nice)

    Your two hands

Practical and fun to do, this is a simple craft you can do while watching T.V. or chatting with your neighbor.   Careful, this almost mindless work for your hands can be addicting!

These book corners are very useful and kind of cute.

Start with a small piece of paper, preferably double sided, around 3 inches square.  A mid-weight paper is best, cardstock is too bulky.

Step One:  Fold the paper in half diagonally.  The outside paper is the one which will show the most in the finished book corner.  You now have a triangle.

Step Two:  Fold top layer point down to center bottom of triangle.

Step Three:  Fold left point in to center.  Do the same with right point

Step Four:  Unfold right point, and then fold upward to top of triangle along center line.

Step Five:  Tuck point into pocket formed by first fold in step one.

Follow steps four and five with left point to complete book corner.

Make a Bunch!
The completed book corners.  Make them in a variety of colors and patterns.  Don't you just love having a use for some of those paper scraps you have been hoarding?!!

Send me pictures of your finished corners and I will feature some on kimbuktu.
