I used nineteen different cotton fabrics from the collection, silver metal accents, black cording and beads on this backpack style bag. The Mae II is lined in coordinating blue kona cotton. A new style bag for me. This one is wool felt. I knit it of 100 % wool yarn, washed it in hot water to felt it, added a cotton lining, zipper closure, rolled wool felted shoulder strap, and finally, decorated the front with a needle felted butterfly.

My two most recent bags both remind me of the sun. The one on the left, which I have named "Sunrise Over the Ocean" has sand colored beading and beautiful shades of orange and purple. "Midnite Sun" is darker, with some black and a bit of gold fabric and wonderful purple and green beading. Both have around twenty different batik 100% cotton fabrics and freemotion quilting.

New to my shops are these little coin purses. I've made five so far. Here are pictures of three of them. I like the circle shape, and they are just the right size for coins, lipstick, or even a few bills. Three different cotton fabrics are in each purse. I've free motion quilted one side, and added velvet ribbon, paper braid, yoyo's, and buttons for zipper pulls.
