SwappingOne of the new things I've thoroughly enjoyed since opening my shop on Etsy, has been swapping. A team, or even just two shop owners, agree to swap their creations for just the cost of postage. I have received some wonderful items through this fun and often surprising activity. This month I took part in two team swaps. Bbest is a team of baby boomers, the first team I joined on Etsy, an always welcoming and encouraging group. We did an ACEO swap for March. I have done a couple of photographic ACEO gift cards for my paperparaphernalia shop, so one of those was my contribution. It flew all the way to England to my swap partner libertybelle. On the Quiltsy Team, we made and swapped strippy blocks. This was a great way to use up fabric scraps, of which we all have plenty. We sent our blocks to Pamelaquilts, who shuffled them and sent them back out to us. I received twelve wonderful and varied blocks.

| We had an ACEO Swap among the Bbest Team members. I received this adorable hand-drawn card and watercolor ACEO from Kimberly of TheWildHare. I have long admired her calligraphy technique combined with one of my favorite art mediums (watercolor), so I was thrilled to recieve this beautiful little gift. Be sure to check out her shop for an eclectic mix of kits, embellishments, cards, decorations, and gifts.
