T A G  -  I'M   I T !

While perusing some blogs I had not been on in awhile I was pleasantly surprised to find I had been blog tagged.  Blog tagging is a fun way to learn more about other bloggers, and bring attention to their sites.

I just got blog tagged by http://stacysdesigns88.blogspot.com/.
Here's her fab Etsy shop---
http://stacysdesigns88.etsy.com

Stacy lives in Hawaii, my dream vacation spot because of its ocean beauty, perfumed air, and hawaiian quilts.  She makes fabulous jewelry.  My personal favorites are from her understated beauty line of classic earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.

These lovely earrings are a sample of her work.

Here are the rules if you are tagged "it":

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.

2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.

3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.

4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1) I used to write poetry, stories and do pencil drawings.
After I became a Christian, I didn't feel inspired to write
poetry anymore because I was too happy.

I had also been a voracious reader, devouring five or
six books a week.  Then suddenly, at age 29, I put
aside fiction and began only reading non-fiction,
autobiographies, and craft books.

Funny how we evolve.

2)   As a child, I was quite the tomboy. Always barefoot, didn't own a doll, excelled at four square and king of the hill, built underground forts, collected frogs and wolf spiders.  My sister and I would  wander the neighborhood freely  from dawn until 5 p.m. when we  were expected home for dinner.

3)   Pets I have had:

-  Mice
- Birds
- Many dogs, mutts, a husky/wolf mix, St. Bernard, cocker spanial, vizulas
- Many cats
- A pony named Peanut
- Goats
- Turtles
- Fish

  4) A Few Jobs I have had (in no particular order):

- babysitting
- summertime school janitor
- church secretary
-  fabric store clerk
- bookkeeper for a radio station
- waitress

7)   I have been married to my second husband for 22 years.  We have a great friendship, common goals, and laugh at the same things.  I love to work together on things, either serving at our church, remodeling our home, or landscaping our yard.  I also love to dance with him.  On our first date he brought me yellow roses (my favorites) and took me dancing.  Between us we have three children, three son/daughter in laws, and eight grandchildren.

5)   Spring is my favorite season because
it showcases new life and growth.
I love the spring flowers with their
lovely scents, and the green, green,
green of everything.

6)   I don't like melons of any kind, they look good, I like the color and the juicyness, but I dislike the flavor.  They remind me of beer, which I also dislike.

OK, my turn to tag some of my favorite blog sites...
