A Weekend in January

(Notice I have already eaten one of the candies)
What a fun day it has been!

I got to clean house, grab a couple of treasuries on Etsy, and pickup up two packages at the Post Office, the contents of which are shown above.  The gifts were from two wonderful women I've met on Etsy.

The first,
Stacysdesigns88, sent a fabulous assortment of goodies from Hawaii, including some handmade earrings from her shop.  Follow the link to her shop to see more of her stunning work.

The second woman is someone I've met just recently,
squigglechick, who sent a gorgeous assortment of hand dyed fabrics in gradations of green.  She makes beautiful scarves, notecards, and fiber art, check out her shop too.

I am astounded at the generosity and kindness of these women, and others I have met over the internet this past year.

To top off the day, my daughter, son-in-law, two granddaughters, and their dog, are coming for a weekend visit.  What a way to brighten up a cold January!
