BATIK CHARM SWAP

withhugsnstitches batik quilt
The Quiltsy Team has been a big part of my social experience on Etsy.  It is a vital, and busy team with  members from all walks of life.  The thing we have in common is our love for quilting.

One of our most recent activities has been a Batik Charm Swap.  I offered to host this one, having participated in other team swaps in the past.  This swap consists of each participant cutting and mailing 100 five inch batik squares to me.  I redistribute and mail 100 different charms to each swapper.  Since we had 23 members in this swap, that means I am handling 2300 pieces of beautiful batik.  Not a bad experience!

Moran's Batik Charm Quilt
Here are some of the resulting batik charm quilts which were pictured on Flickr.  Aren't they gorgeous!

Sadly, I will not be able to complete mine in time for the dealine, but I promise to post it once it is finished.

P.S. - If anyone else from the team would like to post a picture of their quilt to the Flickr site, I would love to feature it.

Here are links to the shops of the pictured quilts in case you want to see more of their work:
